We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive team-player to join our experienced and friendly Exeter-based office.
The ideal candidate for this Account Executive role will be inquisitive and ambitious with excellent writing skills, the ability to prioritise workload and a keen desire to make an impact in a forward-thinking team.
KOR Communications is a specialist public relations and public affairs consultancy within the land and property sector. An interest in or willingness to learn more about our area of expertise and current affairs is a must.
This is a full-time role based at our offices on the outskirts of Exeter and requires you to have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle. We have free parking directly outside our offices.
The Role
There’s no such thing as a typical week at KOR but you can expect to be:
Working as part of our client account teams.
Managing social media accounts.
Creating compelling content for online and offline platforms.
Monitoring media and social media/political/community issues for clients and projects.
Taking phone calls/monitoring emails, logging details and resolving/escalating queries/issues.
Creating media/stakeholder contact databases.
Organising and attending meetings, taking minutes and actions as required.
Formatting documents and presentations.
Assisting with collating client coverage and monthly evaluation reports.
Thinking and acting independently, taking the initiative when appropriate.
Accurately completing timesheets.
Your skills
A confident communicator – in writing, by phone, in meetings and at events.
Good research and analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
Strong organisation and time management – capable of prioritising multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
A collaborative team player with initiative, a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Ability to adapt tone and style of content for different channels and audiences.
Understanding of and an interest in current affairs.
Proficient in Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
Driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

Vacancy details
Working pattern: 37.5 hrs per week – Monday to Friday, 9am–5.30pm (1hr lunch break)
Salary: £24k to 26k DOE
Number of positions available: one
Qualifications: Degree or experience in roles with transferable skills, for example journalism or in other agencies.
Closing date: 12 noon Friday 5th December, although KOR reserves the right to close the advert, if the right candidate comes forward earlier.
