KOR Communications in house photography team, father and son duo Guy & Jake Newman, provide photography, drone and film services for landed estates, rural businesses and property developers across the UK.
Their images and films are used across annual reviews, national press, websites and social media and press.
We have photographed and filmed estates through every season and every stage of their story, from harvest and lambing to restoration projects, renewable energy schemes and new communities taking shape, always shooting with the end use in mind so a single visit works across every channel.
Guy Newman has more than 30+ years of experience as a photographer and has spent the past 15 working with estates to help tell their stories; Jake Newman is a CAA-qualified and insured drone operator, with flight planning and permissions arranged for every shoot. They understand the sensitivities of photographing estates and they know how to work safely on construction sites.
One of their marquee jobs, is providing the images for the Englefield Estate’s annual review, called the Englefield Echo – see the latest edition here ….. We can take care of the whole process so it isn’t a drain on your team, from organising the shoot times and locations, organising model release forms, post production, sign-offs and safely archiving for future use.
We also offer smartphone photography training for estate teams, delivered on site, where we demonstrate how to capture strong, usable images for social media + web site news stories. These sessions can be booked either independently or more cost effectively, as part of a days shoot when Guy or Jake are on site taking pictures.

Landowner permission alone is not enough. Commercial drone photography must comply with Civil Aviation Authority rules, which govern where and how a drone can fly, and the operator needs the appropriate CAA qualifications and insurance. KOR's drone work is carried out by Jake Newman, a CAA-qualified and insured operator, with flight planning and permissions arranged for every shoot.

Yes. KOR's smartphone photography training shows estate staff how to capture strong, usable images on the phones they already carry to help tell their stories. It is delivered on the estate, as a standalone session or alongside a professional shoot, and suits estates that want a steady flow of current images for social media between professional visits.

Aerial photography can help capture what ground-level images cannot. There are several uses for drone photography and video from nice to have landscape shots to be used across websites and social media to repeated monthly progress tracking of a development project or putting a proposed development in situ.

A well-planned shoot can deliver both at once, for The Benyon Estate in De Beauvoir Town, KOR produced three tenant films, a written feature and social media clips from a single two-day shoot, and the films drew tens of thousands of views online. Film suits stories told best by people speaking in their own words, photography covers the wider, everyday need across web, print and social media.

Often enough that the images match the estate as it is now. Seasonal change, completed projects and new faces date a photography library faster than most estates expect. A practical pattern is a professional shoot once or twice a year, with the estate's own team trained to capture day-to-day images in between, which is the gap KOR's smartphone photography training is designed to fill.
